Eusébio Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Cristian Barreto made a huge save. The supporters of Muricizal AD booed when Desegnano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes in the game, Willian Hermes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cristian Barreto having to interfere. A collision led to Muricizal AD getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Custódio Baiano hit a great ball. Elói Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Terra having to interfere. Elói Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armando Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Cruz in the 15th minute of play. Desegnano's Aílton Leão pulled a muscle in his leg after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 17 minutes, Walmyr Faustino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muricizal AD and the Desegnano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Walmyr Faustino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Alfredinho Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Terra. Muricizal AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredinho Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Alfredinho Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 27 minutes of play, Desegnano's Tiago Machado made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Terra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Hermes in the 33rd minute of the match. Eusébio Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Barreto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Willian Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muricizal AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Willian Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Muricizal AD's zone, Alfredinho Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Terra came out of the goal and Alfredinho Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Muricizal AD's Willian Hermes got a free kick in the 41st minute. Alfredinho Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Armando Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Eusébio Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muricizal AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desegnano the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Muricizal AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Xavier to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Desegnano were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Willian Hermes made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Hermes in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Desegnano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Machado to maneuver through the defense. Willian Hermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willian Hermes ran back to his position shaking his head. 62 minutes into the match, Muricizal AD's Eusébio Xavier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Barreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Willian Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cristian Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muricizal AD's Walmyr Faustino pulled a muscle in his leg after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Elói Batista fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desegnano's protests and gave Elói Batista a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Muricizal AD booed when Desegnano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredinho Cruz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 77 minutes into the match, Muricizal AD's goalkeeper Armando Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredinho Cruz. Armando Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredinho Cruz in the 82nd minute. Desegnano's Cristian Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Xavier in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Eusébio Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Claudinei Perez hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredinho Cruz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armando Terra firmly grabbed it by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Desegnano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
