After some careless play in the Minuim defense, Sabino Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurinho Matorin. The Minuim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurinho Matorin should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Minuim booed when Lajedinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lajedinho's Sabino Pombal in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minuim's goalie prevented a goal. Minuim's Maurinho Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Sena in the 22nd minute of play. The long shot by Charles Marquez in the 25th minute really tested Cléber Messias's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Lajedinho's goalkeeper Cléber Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Gonçalves. If Marcel Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Dida da Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lajedinho and the Minuim players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Minuim booed when Lajedinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Minuim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lajedinho were winning 0-2.

Cléber Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The long shot by Tibúrcio Fernandez in the 57th minute really tested Maurinho Matorin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 60th minute of the match, Serginho Sena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maurinho Matorin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wágner Mazza's late challenge caught a Minuim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wágner Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. Leonel Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cléber Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dida da Silveira hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes, Cristian Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lajedinho and the Minuim players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Lajedinho got a freekick which was hit by Sabino Pombal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Serginho Sena from a close distance when the talented Maurinho Matorin managed to make a qualified save. Minuim's players were relieved. Sabino Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Maurinho Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lajedinho's Serginho Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Marquez during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Minuim supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lajedinho's performance. The match ended with a win for Lajedinho.
