Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maurício Souto took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Sabino Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lajedinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabino Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Corisco SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Yan Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Messias having to interfere. Yan Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cléber Messias made a huge save. Pedro Severo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabino Pombal went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Tibúrcio Fernandez hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Lajedinho's goalkeeper Cléber Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Palmeira. Yan Palmeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cléber Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Lajedinho were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sabino Pombal made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Serginho Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lajedinho and the Corisco SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serginho Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Yan Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Corisco SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo Teles to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Severo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcelinho Gomes. Serginho Sena struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Pedro Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lajedinho. After 69 minutes of play, Corisco SS's Yan Palmeira made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléber Messias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serginho Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Yan Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corisco SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cléber Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Lajedinho defense, Yan Palmeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléber Messias. The Lajedinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber Messias should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute of the match, Serginho Sena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Severo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 93rd minute Sabino Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabino Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Corisco SS had won after a very even match.
