Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joélson Cosme kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Joélson Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto de Azevedo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Léo Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tabaco's Emerson Montenegro tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Cosme in the 13th minute of play forced Lajedao's goalkeeper Augusto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Jardel Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lajedao the free kick. In the 20th minute, Jardel Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Favoretto in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Carlos Quirino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25th minute Dráusio Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Chico Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tabaco's João Carlos Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Fontes in the 32nd minute of play. Luís Paulo Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Tony Favoretto made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tabaco's João Carlos Quirino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Joélson Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

João Carlos Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráusio Barros went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Tabaco getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jardel Vieira hit a great ball. Dráusio Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráusio Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Carlos Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabaco's goalkeeper João Carlos Quirino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hamílton Machado fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lajedao's protests and gave Hamílton Machado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Hamílton Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Natanael de Queirós sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Joélson Cosme fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Augusto de Azevedo, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Joélson Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Joélson Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Lajedao's goalkeeper Augusto de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natanael de Queirós. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Cosme in the 88th minute of play forced Lajedao's goalkeeper Augusto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Barros in the 89th minute of play forced Tabaco's goalkeeper João Carlos Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lajedao's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erasmo Fontes in the 95th minute. Lajedao's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
