Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bernardinho Corrêa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joélson Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Alvarenga having to interfere. Joélson Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th match minute, Erere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Faria to maneuver through the defense. Tabaco's Joélson Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natanael de Queirós who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Alvarenga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erere's Pedro Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Medeiros in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Erere's Fernando Faria got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Erere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Natanael de Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Alvarenga to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute Marcelo Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fernando Faria was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Fernando Faria hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Natanael de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Pedro Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joélson Cosme got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Pedro Alvarenga handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Tabaco's João Carlos Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Fantini in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Erere booed when Tabaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Natanael de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
If Bernardinho Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Erere getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Raphael Peixoto hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Joélson Cosme made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Alvarenga. Erere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Bernardinho Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Bernardinho Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joélson Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Alvarenga having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Raphael Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabaco the free kick. After 86 played minutes Erere got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Peixoto. Erere's Marcelo Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tabaco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
