Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sílvio Luiz Corrêa got the match started through his kick off. Chico Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Sumidor's Richard Valadares got a free kick in the 12th minute. Simão Hames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sumidor's Sílvio Luiz Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Diego Rocha made a huge save. Simão Hames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Gustavo Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Hames in the 22nd minute of play. If Simão Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anselmo da Costa sped through Sumidor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chico Veloso. With a little luck, Manguenza's Diego Rocha got control of the ball when Conrado Pontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sumidor's Gustavo Koehler got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Simão Hames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anselmo da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo da Costa made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Corrêa in the 55th minute of play forced Manguenza's goalkeeper Diego Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Manguenza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Santos to maneuver through the defense. Simão Hames could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Chico Veloso made a huge save. If Conrado Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, Manguenza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Santos to maneuver through the defense. Sumidor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luiz Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Anselmo da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Manguenza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo da Costa couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Manguenza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
