Roberto Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 37 minutes into the game, one of Mage EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 38 minutes into the match, Gernando Vianna notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Mage EC's Thomás Saldanha. Thomás Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Mage EC booed when Aroeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball.
