Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Renan Severo was a little too slow when Luciano Recife got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luciano Recife blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Severo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Recife in the 17th minute of play forced Uvaia's goalkeeper Renan Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Capuxu FC's Severino Bezerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dedé Medeiros during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Uvaia got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Medeiros. If Valdir Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Severo having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Uvaia's Cipriano Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdir Rosado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Valdir Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Bezerra took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Severo. Renan Severo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Renan Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Recife in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Severino Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Renan Severo. Uvaia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Luciano Recife came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Capuxu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Recife couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes of play Uvaia's Dedé Medeiros was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Uvaia getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dedé Medeiros hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Capuxu FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Braga. Renan Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Recife in the 68th minute of play. Valdir Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Valdir Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Capuxu FC's zone, Valdir Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Rosado came out of the goal and Valdir Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdir Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdir Viana in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Capuxu FC's Severino Bezerra got a free kick in the 87th minute. Valdir Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldão Braga hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Valdir Viana might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdir Rosado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdir Viana ran back to his position shaking his head. Uvaia's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Capuxu FC had won, even though Uvaia had held more of the ball.
