Edmundo Abraão hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldo Proença in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldo Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Pioes SS's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Proença came free, but Elias Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Moradas SS's Juarês de Amaral got control of the ball when Hernani de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Quintal in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juarês de Amaral saved Moradas SS from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Hélder Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pioes SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Pioes SS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Arí Zonta hit a great ball. Fausto Bertassi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pioes SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Osvaldo Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Magalhães having to interfere. If Osmar Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pioes SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moradas SS were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Proença made a kick off. Osvaldo Proença took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Magalhães. Elias Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Osvaldo Proença succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Raí Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Hernani de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Pioes SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernani de Amaral couldn't finish the play. After 72nd play minutes Osmar Moraes shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Elias Magalhães and just under the crossbar into goal. Arí Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês de Amaral having to interfere. If Osmar Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Moradas SS booed when Pioes SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arí Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Moradas SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
