Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Naldo Lago got the match started through his kick off. Aírton Velasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joélson Pontes having to make a save. Pamonha FC's Joélson Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Lago in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Massa in the 8th minute of play forced Laginhas's goalkeeper Carlos Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Laginhas booed when Pamonha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Pamonha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Lago came free, but Joélson Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, José Maria da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pamonha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laginhas the free kick. A collision led to Pamonha FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. José Maria da Silva hit a great ball. Anísio Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Pontes having to interfere. Arthur Matos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Marques having to make a save. Naldo Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Carlos Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manoel Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Naldo Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Joélson Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anísio Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Pontes having to interfere. Naldo Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Joélson Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manoel Massa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthur Matos got free with Carlos Marques in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Marques was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manoel Massa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. Carlos Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Massa in the 58th minute of the match. Arthur Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Carlos Marques made a huge save. In the 66th minute Anísio Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Laginhas's Afonsinho Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joélson Pontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Laginhas's Carlos Marques got control of the ball when Arthur Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Marques didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Arthur Matos came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Marques could save by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Pamonha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Lago came free, but Joélson Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Arthur Matos scored 0-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Laginhas's zone, Manoel Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Marques came out of the goal and Manoel Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Pamonha FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pamonha FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
