After having played for 10 minutes, Yan da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vajoia SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yan da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Magalhães having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro de Sena in the 16th minute of play forced Abapa's goalkeeper Ricardinho Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Abapa getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Edmundo Paranaense hit a great ball. With a little luck, Abapa's Ricardinho Magalhães got control of the ball when Yan da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdomiro de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dário Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Vajoia SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oséas Arósio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Yan da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
