Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Valdomiro de Sena started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Curinhaem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belchior Recife to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Yan da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edgard Quadros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 played minutes Vajoia SS got a freekick which was hit by Váldson Palmeira. 13 minutes into the match, Vajoia SS's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Pimenta came free, but Nildo Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizão Magalhães hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Valdomiro de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Quadros having to interfere. Valdomiro de Sena took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Quadros. Edgard Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Nildo Guerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Ian Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabiano Tróia's late challenge caught a Curinhaem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Curinhaem booed when Vajoia SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Tróia was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ian Pimenta made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ian Pimenta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Vajoia SS's Nildo Guerra. Nildo Guerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ian Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nildo Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tião Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dênis Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dênis Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curinhaem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! If Yan da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vajoia SS's Yan da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan da Cunha in the 97th minute of play.
