Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arlindo Trigo got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Jaborandy FC got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Valladares. When Cléber Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaborandy FC's protests and gave Cléber Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Cléber Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gino Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jaborandy FC's Décio Pires got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Valdemar Secco came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Jaborandy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Secco couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Iuarete SC's zone, Valdemar Secco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Arce came out of the goal and Valdemar Secco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Jaborandy FC's Valdemar Secco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Paulo Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Jaborandy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Magalhães came free, but Gino Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes in the game, Valdemar Secco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luiz Paulo Arce having to interfere. Hamílton Barross short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Luiz Paulo Arce to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valdemar Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Luiz Paulo Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamílton Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Arce having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar Secco to strike the kick off in the second half. Emerson Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gino Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Albertinho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Gino Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Emerson Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléber Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Arce having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Oséias Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamílton Barros took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Paulo Arce. Luiz Paulo Arce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Hamílton Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaborandy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamílton Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Paulo Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Jaborandy FC's Gino Teixeira got control of the ball when Emerson Valladares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iuarete SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
