Virgílio Palmeira started the match with the kick off. Alan Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Guerra in the 6th minute of the match. Virgílio Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murillo Arantes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Alan Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdir Martins during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valdir Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, Ipixuna's Conrado Vander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alan Mello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ipixuna reached it. Virgílio Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Mello having to interfere. Eliseu Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alan Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Oari FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Martins to maneuver through the defense. Ipixuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Alan Mello made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Eliseu Guerra sent off a good shot on target. Cacá Faustino took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Leme. Filipe Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alan Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Virgílio Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Virgílio Palmeira put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alan Mello. Alan Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Palmeira in the 79th minute of play. Ipixuna's Virgílio Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Alan Mello managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Ipixuna's Eliseu Guerra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 87 minutes into the match, Eliseu Guerra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alan Mello, 1-3. When the match was over Ipixuna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oari FC throughout the match.
