In the 6th minute, Davi Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zombaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 11 minutes in the game, Hílton Neiva fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeremias dos Santos having to interfere. If Hílton Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafael de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Régis Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Azevedo having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Régis Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulinho Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Zombaria booed when Codoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes, Eriberto Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zombaria and the Codoz players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zombaria getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eriberto Pena hit a great ball. If Hílton Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zézinho Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zombaria's protests and gave Zézinho Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Zézinho Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Régis Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eriberto Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Pena to make the kick off. Régis Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Paulinho Azevedo made a huge save. Rafael de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Hílton Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias dos Santos. Zombaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hílton Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Paulinho Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Pena in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Eriberto Pena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Paulinho Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fiori Bertassi's late challenge caught a Zombaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fiori Bertassi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Fiori Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Régis Bueno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Paulinho Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Régis Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Zombaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis Bueno couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute of the match, Régis Bueno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulinho Azevedo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 81st minute, Paulinho Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Codoz booed when Zombaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hílton Neiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias dos Santos having to make a save. Rafael de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Codoz supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zombaria's performance. The match ended with a win for Zombaria.
