Wanderson Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Secco got free with Reginaldo Nogueira in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Desegnano SS booed when Peruhibe SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Secco got free with Reginaldo Nogueira in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nelsinho Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Haroldo Secco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reginaldo Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. João Paulo Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. João Paulo Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Quintal in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Paulo Torres saved Desegnano SS from getting behind. A collision led to Desegnano SS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Wanderson Faria hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Vinícius Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Paulo Torres was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Desegnano SS's João Paulo Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Quintal in the 40th minute of play. When Ulysses Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Peruhibe SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peruhibe SC's goalkeeper Reginaldo Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. João Paulo Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Quintal in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Quintal in the 55th minute of play forced Desegnano SS's goalkeeper João Paulo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulysses Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Vinícius Quintal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Haroldo Secco came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Desegnano SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Secco couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Desegnano SS's João Paulo Torres got control of the ball when Ulysses Gaúcho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Peruhibe SC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Dante came free, but Reginaldo Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Nogueira having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Peruhibe SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Negri to maneuver through the defense. Reginaldo Nogueira came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Desegnano SS's Haroldo Secco. But to his dismay, Haroldo Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 86 minutes into the game, Desegnano SS's Haroldo Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reginaldo Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 89th minute, Gualter Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Gaúcho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, João Paulo Torres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Desegnano SS had won after a very even match.
