Geovani Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. The referee ignored Vermelhos FC's protests and gave Iuri Campidelis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vermelhos FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Iuri Campidelis hit a great ball. Paulo José Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan do Valle having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Vermelhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Lima to maneuver through the defense. Paulo José Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Paulo José Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo José Tasso to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Anselmo Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abelardo Dantas took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Nogueira. Mathias Nogueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José Tasso in the 59th minute of play forced Vermelhos FC's goalkeeper Allan do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulo José Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute of the match Donatello Seco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan do Valle skillfully saved the ball.
