Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Flavinho Miranda got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Miranda in the 6th minute of play forced Dendezeiros's goalkeeper Marcelinho Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino EC's Lúcio Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Vergílio in the 7th minute of play. If Dinei Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Sena scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lúcio Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lúcio Alves came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Dendezeiros's Fausto Sena. But to his dismay, Fausto Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Dendezeiros's Geovani Reis got a free kick in the 30th minute. A collision led to Dendezeiros getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Régis Marinho hit a great ball. Paulino EC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Dendezeiros's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cléberson Meireles took the corner. After taking down the ball on Paulino EC's corner Cléberson Meireles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelinho Ramalho quite easily take care of the ball. In the 38th minute, Flavinho Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Marcelinho Ramalho. Dendezeiros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Miranda in the 42nd minute of play forced Dendezeiros's goalkeeper Marcelinho Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Pedro Paulo Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulino EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Paulo Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelinho Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Paulo Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinei Vergílio made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Vergílio in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Alves saved Paulino EC from getting behind. Dinei Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavinho Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Ramalho having to interfere. Pedro Paulo Guedes in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelinho Ramalho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Flavinho Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelinho Ramalho having to make a save. When Fausto Sena came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Dendezeiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Sena couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Dendezeiros's Dinei Vergílio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavinho Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino EC's Flavinho Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dendezeiros's Antônio Alvarenga got a free kick in the 79th minute. Flavinho Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Régis Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Dendezeiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis Marinho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dendezeiros's Régis Marinho got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Flavinho Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paulino EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Ramalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paulino EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dendezeiros.
