Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Fernando Mineiro started the match with the kick off. Osmar Marinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eduardo de Carvalho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Marcel Maia charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Maia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Osmar Marinho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luiz Guilherme Braga. If Carlos Fernando Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cássio Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cresciuma's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Simeao SC's Luiz Guilherme Braga got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Osmar Marinho. Cássio Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Rosado having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Cruz during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Simeao SC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Richard Cruz hit a great ball.

Otávio Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Marinho having to interfere. Cresciuma's Osmar Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo de Carvalho in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Mineiro in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Rosado saved Simeao SC from getting behind. If Marcel Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osmar Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Bittencourt in the 65th minute of play. Otávio Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavinho Eger's late challenge caught a Cresciuma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavinho Eger helped the player get up and apologised. Flavinho Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Nilson Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Mineiro in the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Mineiro in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Rosado saved Simeao SC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Simeao SC's Richard Cruz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Nilson Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eduardo de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cresciuma's goalkeeper Osmar Marinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simeao SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
