Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Doni Guerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Peixinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Faustino. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonçalo Vander in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Hames prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonçalo Vander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Hames having to make a save. Evaristo Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peixinho SS's Júlio Hames proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Peixinho SS from getting a goal against them. If Ademir Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes, Ciro de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peixinho SS and the Sururua players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doni Guerra in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Vander saved Sururua from getting behind. Ademir Secco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Hames having to make a save. Gonçalo Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Hames having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Sururua's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Pontes came free, but Elias Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ademir Secco to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciro de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Elias Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peixinho SS. Cesinha Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Vander having to interfere. Evaristo Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sururua's Elias Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Guerra in the 59th minute of play. Hamílton Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Hamílton Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sururua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peixinho SS the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Sururua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Tróia to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Pontes got free with Elias Vander in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamílton Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sururua's Luís Fabiano Santana got a free kick in the 87th minute. Peixinho SS's Amadeu Quirino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sururua. In the 90th minute, Evaristo Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Sururua's Ademir Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Hames made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
