Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Luiz Tróia started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Leme got free with Edmílson Martins in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 minutes, Armando da Silveira made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cacamba SC's Nelsinho de Lara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Christiano Peixoto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmílson Martins came out and tried to block the shot, but Christiano Peixoto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 20th minute. Cacamba SC's Olavo Cardozo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edmílson Martins but with some difficulty. Vitório Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nelsinho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Mandrak in the 29th minute of play forced Cacamba SC's goalkeeper Nelsinho de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório Mandrak in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho de Lara saved Cacamba SC from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Vitório Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Luiz Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho de Lara having to interfere. Clemente Ferreira's late challenge caught a Cacamba SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. Clemente Ferreira hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Christiano Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christiano Peixoto was the one to do the kick off. Edmílson Martins came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Cacamba SC's Edgar Leme. But to his dismay, Edgar Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Christiano Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Edmílson Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 63 played minutes Ararica got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Teixeira. Lauro Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauro Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ararica:s Edmílson Martins showed great skill when he stopped César Cardozo:s penalty. Edmílson Martins came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Cacamba SC's Edgar Leme. But to his dismay, Edgar Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 79 minutes into the match, Ararica's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Leme came free, but Edmílson Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiano Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Edmílson Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Tróia struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nelsinho de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ararica. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Mandrak got free with Nelsinho de Lara in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 89 minutes, Vitório Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ararica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cacamba SC had won after a very even match.
