Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antônio Carlos Carioca got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Leme in the 3rd minute of play forced Carnahyba AD's goalkeeper Jardel Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Carnahyba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Leão to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Christiano Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Carnahyba AD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Caetano Terra hit a great ball. Pedro Paulo Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carnahyba AD's zone, Christiano Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel Guimarães came out of the goal and Christiano Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Peixoto in the 20th minute of play forced Carnahyba AD's goalkeeper Jardel Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cacamba SC booed when Carnahyba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelsinho de Lara made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Aloísio Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Carnahyba AD's Jardel Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Peixoto in the 28th minute of play. Jardel Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th match minute, Cacamba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Aloísio Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Nelsinho de Lara made a huge save. Christiano Peixoto took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jardel Guimarães. Jardel Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Donato Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cacamba SC's protests and gave Donato Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cacamba SC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Donato Barreto hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christiano Peixoto made a kick off. Christiano Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jardel Guimarães made a huge save. If Christiano Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Lemes short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Jardel Guimarães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nelsinho de Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Carlos Carioca went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 77th minute, Christiano Peixoto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jardel Guimarães, passed just outside the right post. In the 78th minute, Edgar Leme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jardel Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After having played for 82 minutes, Edgar Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacamba SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christiano Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christiano Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacamba SC's Christiano Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Cacamba SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carnahyba AD.
