With a little luck, Carnahyba AD's Jardel Guimarães got control of the ball when Vitório Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute Pedro Luiz Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carnahyba AD's goalkeeper Jardel Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Antônio Carlos Carioca made a precise shot to the right of Edmílson Martins. Ararica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 67 minutes into the match, Carnahyba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Mandrak came free, but Jardel Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carnahyba AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
