Fred Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Giovanni Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Luís Fernando Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Toninho Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jurujuba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. Isaltino Vidal struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Daniel Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pimental AD. Bernardinho Chaves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred Matos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Vidal in the 77th minute of play forced Jurujuba EC's goalkeeper Daniel Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fernando Proença let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 80th minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. The supporters of Jurujuba EC booed when Pimental AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Hermes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fred Matos. Pimental AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jurujuba EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
