Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian de Azevedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Cojubim's Murillo Guimarães got control of the ball when Diego Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Murillo Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo Guimarães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Maciel went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Murillo Guimarães acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from João Vítor Galvão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Severo in the 16th minute of play forced Juliapolis FC's goalkeeper Iuri Mumbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Mumbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daniel Severo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Cojubim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Severo couldn't finish the play. Daniel Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Iuri Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Maciel in the 31st minute. Iuri Mumbach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Severo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Murillo Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Juliapolis FC's João Vítor Galvão got a free kick in the 37th minute. Cojubim's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tião Gomes in the 40th minute. At last the ball reached Afonsinho Ferreira at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Juliapolis FC. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Severo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Evandro Sampaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Iuri Mumbach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cojubim's Tião Gomes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Juliapolis FC. Iuri Mumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Christian de Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murillo Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Noel Cerezo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iuri Mumbach. Juliapolis FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Christian de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Prado's late challenge caught a Cojubim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernani Prado helped the player get up and apologised. Hernani Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Juliapolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Severo came free, but Iuri Mumbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes, Tião Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cojubim and the Juliapolis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Tião Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
