Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Paraibano took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Dedé Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guatapora's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeferson Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Paraibano in the 12th minute of play forced Guatapora's goalkeeper Juan Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Assiz EC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Richard Mumbach hit a great ball. Dedé Leão let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 19th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedé Leão got free with Jeferson Félix in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match, Hélio da Silveira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeferson Félix saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Assiz EC's Luizinho de Sena in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Juan Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Paraibano in the 40th minute of play. Luizinho de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizinho de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Paraibano took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Branco. Juan Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélio da Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. When Jaime Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Assiz EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Paraibano couldn't finish the play. When Arí de Godoy fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guatapora's protests and gave Arí de Godoy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute of the match Téo Cearense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Branco skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guatapora's zone, Luizinho de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Branco came out of the goal and Luizinho de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Juan Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Luizinho de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Assiz EC's Silvério Neiva got a free kick in the 91st minute. Fausto Maranhense shot a long shot in the 92nd minute and a light blocked Jeferson Félix hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 4-2.
