Mirando's supporters rose to their feet, but Téo Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Varela in the 18th minute of play forced Mirando's goalkeeper Jonathan Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Messias in the 20th minute of the match. Leopoldo Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Soares in the 26th minute of play forced Oiteiro EC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, Oiteiro EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Paes to maneuver through the defense. When Téo Messias came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mirando fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Téo Messias couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Soares made a kick off. Erik Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Eduardo Mangueira hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Mirando's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Paes came free, but Jonathan Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erik Loureiro fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirando's protests and gave Erik Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Mirando got a freekick which was hit by Erik Loureiro. Leopoldo Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Oiteiro EC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Dino Cavalcante hit a great ball. Leopoldo Marquez made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Téo Messias sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Leopoldo Marquez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mirando eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
