In the 5th minute Eugênio Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umberto Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Ribeiro having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Eugênio Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruizubo AD's Alfredo Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Ruizubo AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Eugênio Seco hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Eugênio Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Umberto Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaibaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Umberto Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Elói Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 24 in the game by Umberto Santana from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Ribeiro managed to make a qualified save. Ruizubo AD's players were relieved. Elói Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Manoel Pontes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jaibaras's Nilmar Mandrak. Nilmar Mandrak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ruizubo AD's zone, Umberto Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Ribeiro came out of the goal and Umberto Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eugênio Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nilmar Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jaibaras getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. André Melo hit a great ball. Nilmar Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Elói Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruizubo AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilmar Mandrak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Ruizubo AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manoel Pontes made a kick off. Manoel Pontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilmar Mandrak having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Jaibaras's zone, Manoel Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilmar Mandrak came out of the goal and Manoel Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Umberto Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alfredo Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Seco in the 64th minute of play. Alfredo Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaibaras's Eugênio Seco. But to his dismay, Eugênio Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Elói Eger struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Nilmar Mandrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruizubo AD. 73 minutes into the match, Ruizubo AD's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio Seco came free, but Alfredo Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaibaras's Kléberson Zonta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfredo Ribeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 78thth minute of the game Manoel Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaibaras's Nilmar Mandrak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Manoel Pontes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nilmar Mandrak, 1-2. Eugênio Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Manoel Pontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilmar Mandrak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The Jaibaras supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ruizubo AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Ruizubo AD.
