Hélder Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 minutes, Váldson Mineiro made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Morrinhos's Hélder Tande tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arthur Borges was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Wiliam Figueiredo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wiliam Figueiredo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Váldson Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. Wiliam Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ivo Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morrinhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arthur Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiliam Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Morrinhos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Narciso Leme in the 82nd minute. Morrinhos's Narciso Leme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arthur Borges in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ivo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Borges having to interfere. Arthur Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Figueiredo in the 97th minute of play. The Breozinho AD players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Morrinhos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
