Roger Soares hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Ramiro de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beriquara FC's Raphael Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro de Almeida in the 23rd minute of play. Ramiro de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Arósio having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Beriquara FC's goalkeeper Raphael Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Alagoano. Ramiro de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Raphael Arósio made a huge save. Ramiro de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamim Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Horácio Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramiro de Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Porto got free with Adalmo Rosa in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Bomfim's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Pitta came free, but Adalmo Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Horácio Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bomfim's Adalmo Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Bomfim from getting a goal against them. Artur Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Raphael Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
