In the 12th minute Vladimir Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Cabral struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Luís Gustavo Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abaetezinho. Osvaldinho Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Porto having to interfere. If Osvaldinho Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Abaetezinho's Paulo Silveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Gustavo Porto. Luís Gustavo Porto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Mandrak in the 39th minute of play forced Abaetezinho's goalkeeper Bernardo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Osvaldinho Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Iuri Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Madureira having to interfere. Bernardo Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Iuri Veiga struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bernardo Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acapucai. A collision led to Abaetezinho getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Remo Vieira hit a great ball. If Thomás Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Thomás Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Osvaldinho Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Abaetezinho's zone, Vladimir Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Madureira came out of the goal and Vladimir Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Gustavo Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Lucas in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Acapucai's Ciro do Valle got a free kick in the 78th minute. Abaetezinho's Osvaldinho Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Abaetezinho getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Paulo Silveira hit a great ball. After 90 minutes Abaetezinho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luís Paulo Rodrigues who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Acapucai's corner Luís Paulo Rodrigues fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernardo Madureira quite easily take care of the ball. Vladimir Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Thomás Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acapucai's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
