Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iuri Veiga got the match started through his kick off. Acapucai's Luís Gustavo Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Ribeiro in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 played minutes Acapucai got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Veiga. Iuri Veiga struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Renan de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acapucai. Renan de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Veredinha's goalkeeper Renan de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonsinho Palmeira. Laerte Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Danilo Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iuri Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Andrézinho Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luís Gustavo Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Inácio de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Egídio Netto came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Acapucai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egídio Netto couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Renan de Carvalho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 47 played minutes Veredinha got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Azevedo.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iuri Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Vladimir Mandrak notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Veredinha's Renan de Carvalho. Renan de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute Iuri Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iuri Ribeiro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Gustavo Porto saved Acapucai from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Acapucai's zone, Iuri Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Porto came out of the goal and Iuri Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Veredinha's Iuri Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 76 minutes into the game, Laerte Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Veredinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acapucai the free kick. Laerte Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Iuri Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Renan de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
