Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Umberto Correia kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Teles notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jupara SS's Zé Augusto Bertassi. Zé Augusto Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Augusto Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Teles in the 7th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Umberto Correia made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nantes's Dedé Palmeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dedé Palmeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Correia's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Rodolfo Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Jupara SS booed when Nantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ademir Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zé Augusto Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademir Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Zé Augusto Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nantes. Ademir Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Bertassi having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Nantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Teles to maneuver through the defense. When Dedé Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Jupara SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Trancoso couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ademir Tinoco made a kick off. Rodolfo Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Zé Augusto Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dedé Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zé Augusto Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jupara SS's Zé Augusto Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Jupara SS from getting a goal against them. Dedé Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Umberto Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedé Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aluísio Garcia hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Albertinho Nascimento's late challenge caught a Jupara SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertinho Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Nantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Castro to maneuver through the defense. When Dedé Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Jupara SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Trancoso couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Nantes's Albertinho Nascimento got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Correia in the 82nd minute of play forced Nantes's goalkeeper Dedé Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Nantes's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Correia came free, but Dedé Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Jupara SS's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Tinoco came free, but Zé Augusto Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Tinoco hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Ademir Tinoco kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Zé Augusto Bertassi never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. In the 94th minute, Dedé Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedé Palmeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nantes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jupara SS.
