Egídio Schmidt hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Rui Amaral, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 21st minute Marcelo Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Trigo in the 29th minute of play forced Dominguinho EC's goalkeeper Filipe Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Filipe Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominguinho EC's Filipe Vinhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Dominguinho EC from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Filipe Vinhas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 1-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Marcelo Trigo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Trigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serginho Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Dominguinho EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. When Márcio Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Dominguinho EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Nascimento couldn't finish the play. If Sílvio Luís Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Didi Trigo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. If Marcelo Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. When the match was over Dominguinho EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ladainha FC throughout the match.
