Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Francisco Mota started the match with the kick off. When Giovani Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Luisiania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Magalhães couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Francisco Mota in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Luiz Guilherme Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Luisiania's Giovani Magalhães fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luisiania's goalkeeper Evandro Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giovani Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luiz Guilherme Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Ciro Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Evandro Baptista. Luisiania's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Giovani Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evandro Baptista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ciro Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Antunes to make the kick off. Luisiania's João Francisco Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Baptista having to interfere. Waldir de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Evandro Baptista made a huge save. In the 84th minute Ciro Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Waldir de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Antunes in the 92nd minute of play forced Luisiania's goalkeeper Evandro Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Luisiania booed when Marau SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. When João Francisco Mota fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luisiania's protests and gave João Francisco Mota a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Luisiania's João Francisco Mota got a free kick in the 95th minute.
