Filipe Vinhas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Luiz Guilherme Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Pena in the 23rd minute of play. When Dominguinho EC's Sílvio Luís Pena in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sílvio Luís Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dino Luz fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marau SS's protests and gave Dino Luz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Marau SS getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dino Luz hit a great ball. Waldir de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Filipe Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Antunes in the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dominguinho EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marau SS.
