Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edson Ceresso started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Edson Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacalhau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edson Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Paulo Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Oliveira having to interfere. Joélson Cabral struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Severino Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juarez EC. Edson Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zacarias de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Cabral in the 15th minute of play forced Bacalhau's goalkeeper Severino Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Joélson Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some careless play in the Bacalhau defense, Luiz Paulo Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Oliveira. The Bacalhau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Oliveira should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Bacalhau's Edson Ceresso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Daniel de Godoy struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Zacarias de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacalhau. Luiz Paulo Xavier struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Severino Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juarez EC. Luiz Paulo Xavier took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Oliveira. Severino Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Bacalhau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Juarez EC were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Paulo Xavier to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Juarez EC defense, Daniel de Godoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias de Castro. The Juarez EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias de Castro should have stopped the shot. Joélson Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bacalhau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Luiz Paulo Xavier scored to the left of an out of position Severino Oliveira, making the score, 2-4. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bacalhau's goalkeeper Severino Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bacalhau's Severino Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Xavier in the 79th minute of play. Adriano Salgado hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Luiz Paulo Xavier fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Juarez EC's Luiz Paulo Xavier in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bacalhau's goalie prevented a goal. If Edson Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
