Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Creciuna SC's Raimundo Madureira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tarcisio Tande hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Betinho Valle got in the 7th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Isaltino Veiga handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Betinho Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaltino Veiga having to make a save. Creciuna SC's Isaltino Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Nogueira in the 9th minute of play. Isaltino Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Léo Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Creciuna SC's Raimundo Madureira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bebeto Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Creciuna SC's goalkeeper Isaltino Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Betinho Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28thth minute of the game Léo Paraíba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jucal EC's Bebeto Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Betinho Valle in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isaltino Veiga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Betinho Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Isaltino Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jucal EC's Bebeto Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Madureira in the 38th minute of play. Isaltino Veiga came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Jucal EC's Betinho Valle. But to his dismay, Betinho Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 44th minute, Ricardinho Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardinho Nogueira was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.

Tião Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Creciuna SC's Isaltino Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Vergílio in the 56th minute of play. Isaltino Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Jucal EC's goalkeeper Bebeto Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léo Paraíba. Raimundo Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Mendes having to interfere. With his leg Bebeto Mendes managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Creciuna SC's Léo Paraíba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Betinho Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 74 minutes, Ronaldão Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Creciuna SC and the Jucal EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Betinho Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Isaltino Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jucal EC's zone, Raimundo Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Mendes came out of the goal and Raimundo Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bebeto Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Madureira's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Jucal EC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Madureira came free, but Bebeto Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bebeto Mendes was a little too slow when Raimundo Madureira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-1. Betinho Valle scored 2-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaltino Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jucal EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Creciuna SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
