Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evandro Carioca got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Aguapaba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Donato to maneuver through the defense. Nilmar Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Edu Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edu Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Aguapaba EC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Maia. In the 15th match minute, Aguapaba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Donato to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Incaibro SC got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Peixoto. If Nilmar Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sílvio Maia got free in front of the goal in the 30th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Carlos Eduardo Varela was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Incaibro SC defense, Evandro Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edu Tinoco. The Incaibro SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edu Tinoco should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Evandro Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguapaba EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edu Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Aguapaba EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Nilmar Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Durvalino Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edu Tinoco came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Aguapaba EC's Nilmar Tepedino. But to his dismay, Nilmar Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Evandro Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Aguapaba EC defense, Adrianinho Mesquita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Eduardo Varela. The Aguapaba EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Eduardo Varela should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the game, one of Incaibro SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Aguapaba EC's Chico Donato got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edu Tinoco. Aguapaba EC's Carlos Eduardo Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Maia in the 80th minute of play. When Sílvio Maia came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Incaibro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Maia couldn't finish the play. After having played for 87 minutes, Adrianinho Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Incaibro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrianinho Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrianinho Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Carlos Eduardo Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
