A hard shot 5 in the game by Luiz Fabiano Madureira from a close distance when the talented Edu Tinoco managed to make a qualified save. Incaibro SC's players were relieved. Bruno Sabóia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edu Tinoco having to make a save. If Bruno Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fabiano Madureira got free with Edu Tinoco in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrianinho Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Sabóia having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Sílvio Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Sananduva's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Mesquita came free, but Baltazar Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sananduva getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Luís Paulo de Amaral hit a great ball. Sílvio Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Baltazar Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sananduva reached it. After having played for 68 minutes, Bruno Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sananduva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes, Jairo Prestes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Incaibro SC and the Sananduva players grew even worse after the yellow card. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Incaibro SC. 78 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltazar Sabóia. Sananduva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrianinho Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 93 minutes into the match, Incaibro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Madureira came free, but Edu Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
