Nilmar Tepedino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Baltazar Sabóia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Evandro Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sabóia in the 36th minute of play forced Aguapaba EC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fabiano Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Evandro Carioca made the kick off in the second half. Evandro Carioca hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sabóia in the 63rd minute of play forced Aguapaba EC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy Vides hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Carlos Eduardo Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Sabóia's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Nilmar Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Erivaldo Ceresso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguapaba EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sananduva the free kick. A collision led to Aguapaba EC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Erivaldo Ceresso hit a great ball. Baltazar Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Tepedino in the 82nd minute of the match. A hard shot 84 in the game by Luiz Fabiano Madureira from a close distance when the talented Carlos Eduardo Varela managed to make a qualified save. Aguapaba EC's players were relieved. In the 85th minute Bruno Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
