Alho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinícius Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The corner led Alho SS's Zé Pedro Tinoco to fire away a dangerous shot which José Maria Hermes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 15th minute, Diogo Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Betão Mattos. Alho SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 18th minute, William de Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Hermes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Betão Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Marques in the 23rd minute of the match. Juan Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Zé Pedro Tinoco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Hermes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Kléberson Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Jorginho Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 40 minutes, William de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The wind increased when Gildo Marques made the kick off in the second half. Gildo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute of the match Zé Pedro Tinoco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Hermes skillfully saved the ball. Alho SS's Betão Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Marques in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Gildo Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Fonseca got free with Betão Mattos in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Betão Mattos made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Diogo Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. After 71st play minutes Gildo Marques shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Betão Mattos and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alho SS's goalkeeper Betão Mattos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lagolandia SS's Gildo Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Lagolandia SS's Gildo Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betão Mattos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Betão Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Marques in the 83rd minute of the match. José Maria Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Genílson Meira fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagolandia SS's protests and gave Genílson Meira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Lagolandia SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Meira to maneuver through the defense. Zé Pedro Tinoco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
