Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Emilio's Edgard Saraiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristiano Bertassi took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Arósio. Abelardo Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th minute, Edgard Saraiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 11 minutes into the game, Afonso Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tapurucuara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emilio the free kick. Afonso Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Ademir Coelho was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Gláuber Teixeira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gláuber Teixeira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ademir Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Teixeira in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Gláuber Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio's Ademir Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Teixeira in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Tapurucuara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner Secco to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Eliseu Bezerra sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tapurucuara's Abelardo Arósio didn't even have to move. When Edgard Saraiva, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Abelardo Arósio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cristiano Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Arósio having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gláuber Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. Edgard Saraiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Arósio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Saraiva ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cristiano Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Abelardo Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráusio Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Coelho having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Emilio's goal looked a bit too open when Gláuber Teixeira came free, but Ademir Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Edgard Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademir Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Abreu during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Abelardo Arósio. 79 minutes into the game, Tapurucuara's Wágner Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademir Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Abelardo Arósio came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Emilio's Cristiano Bertassi. But to his dismay, Cristiano Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Wágner Secco might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ademir Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wágner Secco ran back to his position shaking his head. Gláuber Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
