In the 9th minute Vinícius Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If William de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. Ademir Coelho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgard Saraiva's late challenge caught a Alho SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Saraiva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Emilio getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Edgard Saraiva hit a great ball. If Vinícius Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agenor Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agenor Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alho SS getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Saraiva in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão Mattos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Alho SS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Saraiva made a kick off. Edgard Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Betão Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinícius Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Coelho having to interfere. Cristiano Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorginho Hames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Mattos having to interfere. Cristiano Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Betão Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Edgard Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emilio's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Betão Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Bertassi went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
