Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reginaldo Torres got the match started through his kick off. Chico Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Ribeiro in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th minute Júlio Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reginaldo Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Tuneiras's Iuri Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chico Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Ribeiro in the 28th minute of play forced Canoinhas's goalkeeper Chico Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manolo Pereira scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidney Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes in the game, Manolo Pereira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sidney Souza having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tuneiras's zone, Joel Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Souza came out of the goal and Joel Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Tuneiras's Sidney Souza got control of the ball when Manolo Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Ribeiro to make the kick off. Júlio Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Varela having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Canoinhas's goalkeeper Chico Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iuri Lira. Chico Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Marques in the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Canoinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Lira came free, but Chico Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Tuneiras's Júlio Ribeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 68th minute, Iuri Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Júlio Ribeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chico Varela. That made the score 1-4 in the 76 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Pimenta during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Canoinhas getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Reginaldo Torres hit a great ball. Sidney Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Torres in the 85th minute of the match. If Manolo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If José Vítor Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chico Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tuneiras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
