Chonin's Mateus Abraão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dedê de Almeida in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 93rd match minute, Chonin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Chonin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
