To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Augusto Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Timburai booed when Gravier SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Guilherme Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timburai's Jano Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Meireles in the 40th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Gravier SS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Linhares came free, but Olívio Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Nando Prata made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd match minute, Gravier SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Cesinha Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Gaúcho having to interfere. Olívio Perez made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Pedro Augusto Linhares sent off a good shot on target. Gravier SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
