Ediberto Pirani hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Hermes got free with Vânderson Romero in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Branco had several of the Bacauba FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Vânderson Romero as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alessandro Hermes in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vânderson Romero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 26 minutes into the match, Maloca's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Dante came free, but Ulisses Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ulisses Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Vânderson Romero made a huge save. Vânderson Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Hermes in the 44th minute. After 48 played minutes Bacauba FC got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Guerra. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Branco made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Oswaldo Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Eger struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ulisses Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacauba FC. After 67 played minutes Bacauba FC got a freekick which was hit by Cido Rosa. Ulisses Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Eger in the 82nd minute of the match.
