Indiana EC's Fiori Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Dracena in the 6th minute of play. Júlio Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Santos having to interfere. When Jefferson Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Indiana EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Baiano couldn't finish the play. If Yuri Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Júlio Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Fiori Santos. Indiana EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Yuri Dracena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fiori Santos, 2-0. Adolfo SS's Victor Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Porto in the 35th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Ediberto Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Indiana EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adolfo SS the free kick. With his leg Fiori Santos managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Adolfo SS's Júlio Figueiredo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jefferson Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Indiana EC's goalkeeper Fiori Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kauã Guedes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Indiana EC's zone, Yuri Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Santos came out of the goal and Yuri Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Júlio Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fiori Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Adolfo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Baiano came free, but Victor Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio de Queiroz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 80th minute, Júlio Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adolfo SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 91st minute Yuri Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Adolfo SS's Júlio Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fiori Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yuri Dracena succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Indiana EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
