Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antônio Carlos Moraes started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbson Vidal during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Muzambinho's Róbson Vidal got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Cido Urbano made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Virgílio de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. If Antônio Carlos Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Virgílio de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Muzambinho getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Guilherme Varela hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Virgílio de Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cido Urbano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rony Bastos's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Virgílio de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cido Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Antônio Carlos Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muzambinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Germano Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Carlos Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Barral having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

54 minutes into the game, Antônio Carlos Moraes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eriberto Barral. Antônio Carlos Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. If Germano Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Estiva's goalkeeper Eriberto Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germano Guerra. 61 minutes into the match, Muzambinho's Antônio Carlos Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Barral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Muzambinho's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio de Toledo came free, but Cido Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Carlos Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Rony Bastos took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cido Urbano. Cido Urbano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Virgílio de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cido Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Rony Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cido Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio de Toledo in the 93rd minute of play. When Flávio Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muzambinho's protests and gave Flávio Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Muzambinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Estiva got a corner. Muzambinho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Flavinho Gerber ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Flavinho Gerber got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cido Urbano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
